Ingredients:
- 1.5 litre milk
- 100 grams soaked Basmati rice
- 4 teaspoon cashewnuts
- 250 grams sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardomam powder
- 1 tablespoon raisins
Cooking time: 40 minutes.
How to Prepare Firni at home
Firstly, To began with wash the rice and soak it for 2 hours. Then make a rough grind by the grinder.
Secondly, Take a deep saucepan then add milk and heat it on medium flame. Boil the milk Very nicely and add the rice on it. Now allow it to cook on low flame, until the milk is make thicker and become to half of the original quantity. Keep stirring constantly.
Thirdly, Once it's completely dissolved then add sugar on it and cook for 5 minutes. Make sure stirring it very well in the whole processes.
Fourthly, After that add cardomam powder and turn off the flame. Pour it in kulladh or earthen pot.
Fifthly,Atlast we make it more interesting by garnish with cashew nuts and raisins and leave it for cool.
Now, the simple and sweet Firni is ready to serve.
